Each day during DC Serve 2008, 60 youth from around North America will be sent out into the Washington metropolitan area to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the community.

Here are some of the sites where they will be ministering:
The Lamb Center
A daytime drop in place for homeless people to take showers, eat breakfast and lunch, use the phones and get their clothes washed. Bible study is held twice a day.
Capital Hill Pregnancy Center
The Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center serves the Gospel of Jesus Christ by providing intervention and abortion alternatives for women facing crisis pregnancies; prepares and trains parents through education for pregnancy, birth and beyond; expresses the love of Jesus Christ through emotional support and friendship; and encourages a lifestyle that reflects godly values, especially with regard to sexual behavior.
World Missions extension center
A daycare for under privileged youth in the DC area.
Northern Virginia Family Services
Yard work and indoor maintenance of houses used by single mom families.
Heart of America
Packing and shipping new books to children all over the country.
